Chippers on intermediate frames are chipping units mounted on a separate frame. This frame can be easily mounted on various truck frames or hook lifts. JENZ supplies only the chipping cell. The customer can therefore choose the chassis of their choice and still receive a high-quality product.

Our wood chippers on intermediate frames are particularly powerful due to the use of a “small hybrid system”. The truck engine, which also drives the crane, can additionally supply the hydraulic blower with energy. This noticeably increases the performance and ensures a consistent ejection distance as well as a high chipping quality. Similar to the dual motor technology in our Chippertruck hybrid, the superstructure motor only works when chipping. During transport, on the other hand, only the engine of the carrier vehicle is used. This allows for maximum performance in chipping while maintaining low maintenance costs and maximum durability.
